About the Role:
· Provide leadership in the transformation of the organization’s Talent Function and bring to life the goal of being recognized publicly and internally as an organization of choice
· Lead an ongoing systematic process of moving through a process of change, to build the culture, structure, and programs that will support the long-term growth of the organization in line with our new strategic plan
· Lead the process of adoption and integration of the Culture Code in the day-to-day operations of the organization and develop our leaders to be change champions and role models
· Establish a culture of continuous learning and development within the team, engaging formal and informal learning opportunities
· Act as a critical business partner and trusted advisor, while providing strategic advice to address complex people's needs and issues, ensuring the human impacts of business decisions are factored into planning and decision-making
· Manage career development, mentoring, and change management programs
· Oversee implementation and analyze employee and equity engagement assessments and other related diagnostic tools
· Embrace continuous improvement; promote HR governance, and the use of data and analytics to drive accountability, learn and adapt to meet changing needs
· Monitor and proactively analyze leading trends and best practices on talent/leadership strategies and programs to identify improvement/enhancement opportunities
· Undertake a review of current HR policies and develop a plan to rationalize the current approach
· Coordinate and manage all employee onboarding and compliance training, provide leadership and employee coaching and guidance throughout the year and the annual performance review and goal setting cycle
· Review department programs to ensure they are current and relevant and develop processes to support essential department functions
· Prepare departmental operational plans and manage departmental budgets
· Minimum 5 years’ management-level / progressive people/business partner experience in a Senior HR role
· Minimum 2 years’ experience with a Real estate firm
· A track record of supporting organizational change and building teams
· Certified Human Resources Leader designation is an asset
· Exceptional communication skills. Creates well-structured, inspirational communications that achieve the desired outcome
· Strong verbal communication skills. Comfortable presenting to senior audiences
· Demonstrated ability to stay current with emerging trends and relevant legislation that impacts organizational performance
· Strong consultative style with proven experience supporting business leaders
· Self-motivated, confident individual who is comfortable operating with minimal direction and thrives in a dynamic environment as a leader influencing change and organizational effectiveness
· Highly organized with strong attention to detail, clarity, accuracy, and conciseness
· Able to work with a high level of confidentiality and discretion
· Comfortable with complexity and ambiguity brings structure and definition to unclear problems and solutions and confidently moves work forward without having the total picture
· Strong change management skills, with the ability to drive critical behavior change to achieve and sustain desired outcomes
· Excellent project delivery skills
· Service-oriented and brings a consultative approach that is responsive and dedicated to meeting internal customers’ expectations and requirements
· Creative thinker, and collaborates with others to test, learn and arrive at creative solutions.
