GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION

Design and develop PID’s, electrical control circuits, Power distribution drawings, Electrical Layout Drawings,

and Instruments hook-ups.

Typically reports to Lead engineer and co-ordinate with other inter-department for engineering design team

activities.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

· Preparation of process & instrumentation (P&ID) diagrams in AutoCAD.

· Preparation of instrument & Electrical equipment’s data sheets according end user specification &

international standards like, ISA/IEC.

· Preparation of instrument interconnection diagrams & Starter/relay control panel wiring drawings &

Logic circuits.

· Preparation of cable schedules, I-O lists & Instrument Index.

· Preparation of instruments Hook-up.

· Preparation of cause & effect diagrams, Electrical & instrumentation Bill of Materials.

· Preparation of control panel GA drawings & Component arrangements.

· Preparation of motor starter power & control schematics using conventional relay controls.

· Preparation of Instrument & Electrical Cable tray routing drawings

· Preparation Instrument Block Diagrams

· Preparation / Review Control logic and Block Interlocking Diagrams

· Preparation / Review JB interconnection drawing and Local control panel Logic & drawing Preparation.

· Create detailed designs and specifications for electrical and instrumentation systems.

· Select appropriate equipment and materials, ensuring they meet project requirements and standards.

· Participate in package FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) and ensure all the E & I Punch point are closed.

· Co-ordinate with QA/QC for E & I Project related material clearance.

· Job transfer, PR creation.

· Review of technical offer, Sub-Vendor Document.

· IFC of documents to production, As Built Documents submission to client.

· Work closely with E & I production team to ensure smooth project execution.

· Participate in package FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) and ensure all the E & I Punch point are closed.

· Present a status report on a weekly/monthly basis to the E&I engineer / Lead Engineer.

EDUCATION & TRAINING

· Diploma in E&I / ICE / EEE from reputed University with good academic record

SKILLS & ABILITIES

· AutoCAD Software Proficiency

· Familiarity in MS-office

· Comprehensive Knowledge of Low Voltage Electrical systems and components.

· Familiarity in Electrical and Instrumentation symbols as per IEC & ISA

· Able to coordination with production team for support.

· Able to work in dynamic team environment and under tight time constraints.
